" I think you offered a wonderful variety of fresh vegetables this year. I LOVE eggplant and never tire of cooking it. The strawberries and raspberries were so good and a very special treat. Thank you for everything!"
"I used the share-out veggies as a supplement to my cooking/ shopping ... because every meal [I cook has lots of vegetables].... I think your tomatillos are great, the Asian eggplant, leeks... Snap peas are really good too."
"1.) Loved helping when we managed it. 2.) Thank you for being so child-friendly.
3.) Recipes were great and helpful."
"Good idea with the recipes. Can you give a preview of up and coming ripe items?.... Overall we're very happy."

Who are you?
Eve's Corner Garden CSA was created by three greenhouse growers in Bethany CT in 2008. For a few years, we had been gardening on the far corner of the property and using the very old (now defunct) office building from the previous owner as our supply shack. After a bountiful season in 2007, we decided to try a small CSA with 20 families for the following spring. 2010 will be our third year as an operating CSA.
Our Mission
*To provide 40 households in the New Haven, CT area with vegetables on a weekly basis.
*To bring people closer to their food; where and how it is grown.
*Grow all vegetables organically and ecologically to promote a healthier environment.
What is a C.S.A.?
A "C.S.A." or Community Supported Agriculture "is an innovative way to connect farmers and consumers in a mutually beneficial relationship sharing the risks and rewards of the growing season. The consumer buys a share of the farm's harvest in advance, guaranteeing a market for the farmer's produce... For most CSAs, a share consists of an assortment of seasonal, farm-fresh vegetables, herbs ... each week during the harvest season, typically June into October."
