How do share-outs work?
Once you become a member of Eve's CSA, you will receive the gift of fresh vegetables from Summer into Fall.
We schedule a specific pick up time so that when you arrive, your food will be freshly picked, ready and waiting for you.
Depending on your needs and budget, there are two share options you can choose from:
Full Share
$425
Pick up full share weekly
Half Share
$250
Pick up full share every other week
The CSA runs for 14-16 weeks from late June/ early July through late September/ early October.
Please understand that this is entirely weather dependent.

2012 Pick Up Time:
Sundays 9:30am - 12:30pm
Bring your re-useable grocery bags!!
Each week food will be laid out on tables. Every item will have a sign identifying it and a quantity of how many or how much you can select.
Some weeks will have more food than others (for example, mid June is not as bountiful as late August), but we promise to give you a good assortment of what we have as it becomes ready.
Sometimes you may see an item you don't usually buy for yourself. This is part of the fun of a CSA. You're able to experience new, healthy foods you may not think to buy normally. As a bonus to your share, we provide recipes to go along with some of the lesser-known items.
If you are unable to make it, or if you're sending someone else to pick up your share, please call/email and let us know!
If you miss pick up, we will leave the shares in coolers for 24 hours maximum.
What can I expect to get?
You will always get a wide variety of vegetables and sometimes fruits. Every week will be different.
Below are several sample weeks of what we shared-out in 2010:
Shareout #2 - July 1st
Lettuce, Salad Mix, Peas, Basil, Kohlrabi, Kale, Scallions, Choice of Cooking Greens.
Shareout #9 August 19th
Choice of Eggplant or Peppers, Arugula, Salad Mix, Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Turnips, Cucumbers,
Hot Peppers, Basil, Parsley, Tomatillos.
Please note that some weeks will be more abundant than others, as shown by these sample harvest weeks during the same season. We will always provide you with whatever we have available. A good, consistent example of a weekly share would be lettuce/ salad mix, an herb, an allia (eg: scallions/ garlic), a green (eg: kale/ collards), and the "staples of the season" (eg: early spring - peas; midsummer - tomatoes).
It is important to remember....
We are local and organic. We do not have a processing plant or large company that is handling your food, and we are not spraying harsh chemicals that kill everything around the plants. Please understand that from time to time, the foods you will pick up may have bruises, cracks, dirt and the occasional bug. We try our best to make sure we share-out clean food, but it happens. To avoid this, we recommend washing and processing your food when you get it home.
Please read Liz's guide Getting the Most From Your Share - How to unpack and store your food.
We encourage reusing and recycling!
Bring left over grocery bags or shopping bags for yourself and others to use to pick up food.
